How did the Social Security Lawyers of Berry & Associates help the claimant win disability benefits?
Early on we counseled our client to carefully document all of her symptoms with her physician. As a result, we were able to obtain a written opinion form from her physician as to what our client's capabilities were. We then argued that these capabilities and limitations from Multiple Sclerosis made her past work and other work, impossible. Through questioning, the claimant described her fatigue and extremity weakness to the point that she needs to lie down 2 to 3 hours in total during the day and requires a cane for ambulation. Also, she explained that her concentration and memory are poor and has a hard time remember instructions.
