How did the Social Security Lawyers of Berry & Associates help the claimant win disability benefits?
Early on we counseled our client to carefully document her neuropathic pain and how it restricted her basic activities. We were able to obtain a written opinion form physicians as to what our client's capabilities were. We then argued that these capabilities and limitations made her past work and other work, impossible. Through questioning, the claimant described how the pain and numbness in her lower extremities causes her to elevate her legs 4 to 5 times a day and that she can only walk and stand about 15 minutes at a time. These restrictions preclude competitive employment.
